December 28th, 2010 starting at noon, the USA Women’s Futsal team will play in a tournament at American Futbolito Sportplex. Join us at the arena for exciting games, prizes, t-shirts and more!  Everyone is invited, the more the merrier! Here is the schedule:

Noon-USA v Pingree Boys

1 pm -SF Vikings vs SF Vikings

2pm -USA vs Masco

3pm – Mustang vs N. Shore Blast

4 pm -USA vs Masco

U.S. Women’s Futsal Showcase

Join us at American Futbolito December 28th at Noon to watch the exciting showcase event between the U.S. Women’s Futsal team and the New York Futsal team.

This will be an exciting event which will showcase the sport of Futsal as well as the skills needed to succeed in the game. More details to follow.

Starting Up

The U.S. Women’s National Team has started practicing again. They are currently practicing Wednesday nights at American Futbolito Sportplex in Danvers, MA. Anyone is welcome to view the practices, which start at 9 PM. We are in the process of updating the site with the new team photos and information for 2011.

There will be a showcase on December 28th at the arena as well. Teams from New York will be present and the unveiling of the new women’s website will be released.

Upcoming Tournament

Stay tuned as we are hearing lots of chatter about the upcoming tournament at the end of the year to the beginning of next year. Teams from all over the U.S. such as NY will be playing in a match here at American Futbolito.

Also, being talked about is getting the U.S. women’s team to Portugal!

2010-2011 Winter Season Start Up

Squeaky shoes, loud cheers, players yelling and coaches teaching. Yes, these are the sounds that will soon fill American Futbolito Sportplex in November.

 The winter season is arriving fast and the arena is getting itself ready for those who will participate this year in the still new game of Futsal. Futsal is slowly gaining popularity since it is known for improving your foot skills for out doors.

More teams are expect to participate this year than the last. Referees are getting ready to bring their best game to the table as well. This years referee Re-Certification will be October 14th and 18th. All are welcome to attend. Sign ups to play are already underway.

Raffels

Raffle tickets $1 for 1, $5 for 8 and $10 for 15 tickets—> lots of different prizes to win! If you can’t make it for the event you can still purchase raffle tickets.

Clinics

During the week of June 20 the U.S.A. Women’s National Futsal Team will be at American Futbolito in Danvers, Mass., providing training clinics for all ages. There will be 3 clinics during the week where individual instruction and critique will be delivered. The total cost of all 3 clinics is only $25.00 and each clinic will last one-hour.

U10 start @ 4 p.m.
U12 start @ 5:15 p.m.
U14/U16 start @ 6:30 p.m.

All funds go directly to the U.S. team to sponsor them at the 2010 National Championships

Tournament

The U.S. Women’s Team will be hosting a tournament on June 26th: Time is Noon @ 7 Electronics Ave, Danvers, Mass. All proceeds will go to the travel needs of the team. Each team will play at least 3 games. The winners will play against the U.S. Women’s team!

Fundraising Concert

The Band T.K.O. and AJ Edwards will at Lounge 59, 59 Washington St., Haverhill, Mass., Saturday, June 26, from 7 to close. Cover $5. There is also raffles for gift certificates from local stores. If that’s not your thing, we have the USA Women’s team to sign anything you want. Plus, there are some really cool drinks on the Lounge 59 Menu. This event is open to ALL AGES!

Boston Breakers

Boston Breakers star Lauren Cheney will be at the arena from 5-6:30 p.m. to sign autographs and to meet the teams. Come and bring everyone for a great time! Dicounted group tickets will be avaible and a chance to win free Breaker game tickets!
